IT
WORKED FOR ME
Like most small businesses, I have had many areas of interest
running simultaneously. I am an author; journalist; teacher;
artist; entrepreneur; mentor; trainer; speaker; mother; daughter
and wife. I have also had Government request my services as a
consultant and have been appointed to a number of their
committees.
It has
not been easy to balance all of these endeavours and retain a
lifestyle. I needed a coach - but I did not have the ready cash to
pay the high fees that many coaches demand. 'How Do
You Eat An Elephant' was
born from the actions I took to solve my never ending problem of
time and how to fit everything in. By nature - I am not very well
organised - but eventually I became so organised with my time that
I was able to re-marry, move to a country home and win 7 of the
Australian Gift of the Year Awards with my business! The Awards
became one of my most successful Marketing Tools which opened many
doors of opportunity. One such ‘door’ allowed me to sign up 16
licensees. My business thrived and my personal life blossomed - I
managed to ride my horse regularly and develop my painting.......it
was great!
I am
now prepared to share my secrets with you.
BITE
BY BITE - STEP BY STEP - TASK BY TASK
Like any good coach, 'How Do
You Eat An Elephant' will
show you ‘bite by bite’ how to manage your time and organise your
business so that you can enjoy the lifestyle of your choice. You
will experience the freedom that I found, enabling you to enjoy
quality time while still
being productive in your busy business. And to your amazement your
business will grow, your dollars will increase and you will
experience an improved lifestyle.
But
don’t just take my word for how fantastic 'How
Do You Eat An Elephant' is and how much time it
will free up for you. Read what Brenda and Vern had to
say...
“Commencing a new
enterprise is a daunting task. Where do you start? How
do you ensure you cover all your bases? Thanks to
'How
Do You Eat An Elephant' I was able to
follow a simple step-by-step process of development. The
manual was easy to follow and adapted to my business easily.
As a bonus, my new ‘Procedures Manual’ has enabled me to achieve
Navigator Accreditation with a star rating. Using this
tool I can clearly see where I have been and where I am
headed.”
Brenda Krol of Handee Bookkeeping Services
Many micro businesses
say that one of the biggest issues that face them is lack of time,
so by putting in place sound business practices it must help the
business operate more smoothly and so increase the time available
to do business, increase profits and give
more leisure or family time which is a very good outcome all
round. Congratulations again - well done!”

Some
business operators went on to use the outcomes of 'How Do
You Eat An Elephant' to achieve accreditation and a star
rating. They were excited by what they had achieved for their
business
“What an amazing
experience this has been for me! I am suddenly aware of all
the good things I have in place for my business, and also the great
‘holes’ in what I have missed doing – I am now motivated to fill
those holes. My personal philosophy in life is ‘Reach for the moon,
even if you fail you will be among the stars’ so I find it amazing
that I have been given the opportunity of having a star
rating! Thanks for the opportunity to participate – thanks
Navigator!” Robyn O’Connell of
Silver Celebrants - 2 star rating
“In
the highly competitive industry of counselling and coaching, it is
difficult to find a point of difference. Gaining official
acknowledgement of the excellence of my business gives me that
cutting edge difference - thanks for developing such a valuable
process as Navigator.” Jacquie Wise
of Wise Ways - 5
star rating
“To
be accredited means a lot to me. As a HBB it will give me an edge
over my competitors. People will feel more comfortable to do
business with me and will judge me differently. It gave me the
opportunity to look at my business from the outside. It encouraged
me to make future plans and to re-assess where my weaknesses and
strengths are. I just read the assessment comments, thank you so
much, all that work Navigator puts in; I can now clearly see where
some of my problems are”
Renata Eichin of The Hopping Kangaroo – 2 star
rating
